Located in the heart of the AIS Campus, the AIS Aquatic Centre houses both 50 metre and 25 metre indoor heated pools .

The centre is open to the public for individual use and both pools are available for hire for group use by schools, sporting clubs and other organisations.

The 50 metre pool can be converted into two 25 metre pools through the use of a moveable bulkhead. The centre also has the capability to be setup for competition swimming, water polo and many other sporting events.

The pool timetable below provides opening times for both pools. Please note that lane restrictions may apply and opening times are subject to change at short notice.

Public Swimming Timetable

The AIS Aquatic Centre features a 50-metre pool and a 25-metre pool, with a unique timetable for each pool. Lane restrictions may apply (see below for the number of lanes available at each time slot) and opening times are subject to change at short notice.

Opening times: 6.15am to 9.50pm.

Please note that on weekends and public holidays the pool closes at 7.50pm

All fees (except swim school beginner levels) are inclusive of GST and subject to change at any time. Swim School Beginner level classes are exempt from GST.

The AIS Aquatic and Fitness Centre, and individual pools and lanes are available for hire for everything from swimming carnivals to water polo and synchronised swimming training and competitions. Recovery at the AIS

At the AIS Aquatic and Fitness Centre, we understand the importance of recovering properly from injuries or surgery. This is why we offer a variety of aqua and gym programs to help you prepare for more advanced fitness programs and to improve your quality of life.

Entry only available during public opening times
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (over 16 years of age)
Entry not transferable
No refunds are provided for unused visits
Current ID card required for concession admission
Membership cards remain the property of AIS. Lost cards will be replaced at a fee of $5.00
Swim caps must be worn in the pool at all times
